Description

ISIS Summer is British Council accredited, a member of English UK and a registered Trinity College examination centre.

We are part of the ISIS Education and Travel Group. As well as running 15 summer junior (10-17) residential language schools, we operate 3 year-round adult schools and are a leading educational tour operator for UK-based students.

We are now recruiting appropriately qualified teachers and senior teachers for our junior summer centres based at university campuses and boarding schools throughout the UK. We offer both residential and non-residential posts at each of the following locations:

Bristol, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, Cirencester, Edinburgh, Exeter, Horsham, Guildford, London, Oxford, Winchester and York.

The contracts we offer are between 2 and 6 weeks during July and August. We are also looking for senior staff, welfare managers, teacher/activity leaders and activity leaders.

We offer full support to both newly qualified and experienced teachers by way of:

- A fully resourced syllabus with accompanying lesson plans
- Staff handbook and pre-course materials
- Directors of Studies, Assistant Directors of Studies and Senior Teachers
-Professional Development sessions
- A 2-day paid induction programme before course starts

We are committed to providing students with a safe environment in which to learn. All staff will receive a Student Welfare Manual which sets out the policies and procedures that have been put in place to effect this.

Successful applicants may be asked to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced Disclosure, Disclosure Scotland check or provide a Certificate of Good Conduct.

Requirements

The following are essential:

* Aged 18 or over
* Eligible to live and work in the UK
* Native or native level English speaker
*CELTA,Trinity TESOL or PGCE in English or a Modern Foreign Language
*Excellent communication skills
*The ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
