Description

As a holiday camp we feel that we treat our staff very well both in terms of salary and time off in comparison to other camps. We do this because we do not want our staff to lose energy and motivation throughout a programme and we want to get the best out of each member of staff.

We want our staff to focus all their energy on the students and their needs. When working with the kids the more of your personality you put in to your work the greater the response from the kids and the more rewarding the experience for everyone.

Responsibilities:

Organising and running the English, French and German Language programmes
Teaching language classes when necessary.
Help to organise and run the sports programme including the winter ski programme with the Programme manager
Help organise the staff training
Produce the weekly activity programme
Organise the administration of the programme
Help organise staff meetings on a regular basis
Ensure that we have the necessary equipment needed for the running of activities
Organise the daily tasks to be carried out by the staff
Supervise and review staff performance
Ensure staff discipline by dealing with incidents as they happen.
Ensuring student discipline by dealing with incidents as they happen.
Work with the Directors to develop our programmes to improve their quality
Liaise with group leaders to ensure the smooth running of their programme
Liaise with other Coordinators to ensure that they each have the necessary information to run their programmes
Promoting the Centre positively to all staff and clients

Requirements

* Teaching degree or teaching degree in progress.
* TEFEL or ESL ( French or German equivalent )

Other skills/abilities that will strengthen your application:

* Second Language ( French, German, English, Italian or Spanish )
* Minibus license/experience driving minibuses
* Other sports qualifications
* Experience working in camps
* Experience/qualifications working with children
* First Aid
* Interest in Drama / Arts / Music
