Course Directors

Description

Are you an experienced educational manager? Do you have residential experience with students aged 9-17?

We are looking for Course Directors to be responsible for the efficient management of our high quality centres, and be the prime movers in setting the tone of the courses.

You'll arrive at the relevant centre prior to students to familiarise yourself with all details of the premises, meet relevant staff at the host school and plan for the beginning of the course. You'll be supported by a Recreation Director and a Senior Housemaster/ Housemistress, responsible for managing the recreation programme and a team of Housemasters/ Housemistresses respectively. A Director of Studies at each Young Learners’ centre manages the academic programme and reports to the Course Director.

As well as working with a number of experienced returning staff at each centre, you'll have lots of support from the Operations team and our head office in Windsor.

Requirements

We are looking for good, diplomatic administrators with the ability to motivate others as part of a team. Experience of working in a residential environment and the relevant age range is essential, as is the ability to provide leadership. Course Directors must be prepared to work hard but in return will find that there is a great deal of satisfaction to be gained from the job. A TEFL background is not required.

Free full board accommodation is provided.

All staff are paid an additional 12.12% of their stated salary as statutory holiday entitlement, and also work an average six-day week.
