Summer positions at Embassy CES Summer are fun, challenging and very rewarding, and therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing staff keen to make a decisive contribution to the success of the summer school programme. We now operate over 20 centres across the UK.
Main duties / responsibilities
* To ensure academic EFL tuition appropriate to a summer school environment
* To maintain proper levels of student discipline, safety and welfare
* To assist testing students
* To ensure weekly paperwork is completed
* To attend all relevant meetings
* To ensure adequate preparation for all teaching and activity sessions
* To lead and supervise students on on-site / off-site activities and excursions (half-day teaching centres)
* To carry out residential supervision duties, including meal and bedtime supervision and guardian duties. |

Essential qualities:
* CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL or post-graduate teaching qualification (PGCE or BEd)
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Good time management skills
* Ability to work in a team
* Flexibility
Ideally you will have:
* Previous knowledge of summer schools
* Experience of dealing with continuous enrolment
* Experience of working with teenagers
* Previous experience of working with minors
Returning staff receive a wage increase of £10 per year while EFL tutors also receive an increase of £10 for each year's experience (up to a maximum of 3 years experience). |
