The British Council Bangladesh is recruiting two Teachers of English to start 25 August 2008. UK passport essential.
You will be teaching up to 24 hours a week, following a communicative approach to language teaching. General English, IELTS preparation, business English, English for young learners and tailor-made corporate courses.
This is one of the best paid teaching posts in the network and the opportunities to save a large portion of your salary are great. Teachers are trained to become IELTS and Cambridge ESOL examiners.
There is a particularly high demand for IELTS examiners and teachers can earn a substantial supplement to their salary with examining work (IELTS). |

A recognised TEFL Certificate (CELTA or equivalent) and at least 2 years' EFL teaching experience after training are essential for this post.
Experience of business and professional skills training and teaching YLs is very desirable.
All applicants must hold a UK passport. |
