Description
Are you a qualified English language teacher? EAC have been providing high quality English language courses for a number of years to teenagers and young people from all around the world.
Each teacher is required to work 30 hours per week - 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. Your duties during this time will vary according to which programme the centre is running on – Zigzag or Non-Zigzag. Please note most cenrtes run Zigzag programmes and applicants do not have an option to choose thier preferred programme. This will be pre-determined by the centre capacity.
Zigzag Programme – Morning and Afternoon Teaching
30 hours per week teaching – may include testing and induction of students
Days of Work on a ZigZag programme:
Teaching days are usually Monday to Friday.
Non-Zigzag Programme – Morning Teaching Only plus activities
15 hours per week teaching – may include testing and induction of students
PLUS
15 hours per week allocated for the supervision of daytime or evening activities, participation in and supervision of excursions and supervising the transfer of students to and from the airport.
Days of Work on a non-zigzag programme
Teaching duties will usually (but not always) be between Monday to Friday. Excursions take place at weekends and teachers will be offered the opportunity to earn extra money by assisting with these excursions as required.
Requirements
Degree PLUS CELTA, Cert TESOL or equivalent.
Please note EAC do not consider weekend TEFL or online TEFL courses as acceptable qualifications
