Head Teachers

UK Study is looking for a person with experience, who has a friendly manner and is able to offer support.

The Head Teacher will be responsible for the smooth running of the language course and the organisation of the teaching programme. You will also be expected to maintain the high academic standards that students have come to expect from UK Study International.

Candidates for the position of Head Teacher should have excellent communication skills and be able to manage a team of teachers to create a positive working atmosphere. You will be responsible to the Centre Director , will lead staff meetings, ensure that the teaching programme is being followed, participate in extra curricular activities and be prepared to teach in case of staff absence or illness. You will also be expected to provide a one hour presentation, based on the excursions, twice a week to the Group Leaders.

Requirements

Candidates should be mother tongue English speakers and be CELTA (or equivalent) qualified with a minimum of five years’ teaching experience, including students aged 11-18.

Ideally, the candidate should have some experience in managing a team and should also be familiar with the preparation for the Trinity College of London Graded Examinations in Spoken English.
