Are you an experienced teacher looking to progress in your career? Residential positions available in summer schools throughout England and Scotland. 

The Head Teacher will be responsible for the smooth running of the course, the organisation of the teaching program and above all the maintenance of the high academic standards that students have come to expect from UK Study International.

Candidates for the position of Head Teacher should be effective communicators with the ability to manage a staff of teachers and create a positive, enthusiastic team. You will also lead staff meetings, be willing to participate in extra curricular activities on a rota basis and be on standby in case of staff absence or illness. 

A highly desirable quality would be the knowledge of exam preparation as many students following our program will take the Trinity College London Spoken Exam.

Requirements

Candidates should be Mother Tongue English speakers holding a recognised teaching qualification, e g TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, BA QTS or equivalent. Five years teaching experience, and summer camp experience with students aged 11-18 would be a valued quality.
