Residential EFL Teachers

Description

EFL Residential Teachers are responsible for the teaching of English to a high standard as part of our academic team. You will teach English following the syllabus of our workbooks and our Tuition Programme. As well as working on your own initiative, you will work closely with the Head Teacher to assist in all aspects of the successful delivery of the academic programme.

You will assist the Head Teacher in the entry tests, grouping of students, lesson preparation and progress monitoring of classes.

While making lesson stimulating as well as enjoyable emphasising on Spoken English and Culture, you will be required to keep a lesson diary, class register, assessment records for each student and to complete the end of course student evaluation form.

In addition to the above the Residential Teachers are also expected to participate in afternoon and after dinner activities on a rota basis and go on excursions when requested.

Requirements

Mother Tongue English speaker holding any of the following Certificates: TEFL, CELTA, TESOL, BA QTS or equivalent teaching qualification are essential.

Summer camp experience as well as working with students aged 11-18 would be a valued quality.

Minimum one year of experience in teaching young learners between the ages 11-18 is required.
