Residential Summer Teachers

Description

We are looking for teachers to work in our residential centres, teaching children aged 10 - 16. The course runs from) 4 July – 15 August. Teachers may be employed for between 3 and 6 weeks.  
 
Most positions will involve teaching up to 40 lessons per week (each lesson is 45 minutes), houseparenting duties on a rota basis, and minimal involvement in non-academic duties. Some positions will be a combination of 20 lessons plus activities.
 
Full support is provided, including a teaching syllabus for each level, a range of supplementary material, and observation and training as appropriate.

Requirements

Essential: university degree + CELTA (or equivalent). Energy and enthusiasm are also essential qualities! Desirable: experience of teaching younger learners.
