Summer positions at Embassy CES Summer are fun, challenging and very rewarding, and therefore, we are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and outgoing staff keen to make a decisive contribution to the success of the summer school programme. We now operate over 20 centres across the UK.
Main duties / responsibilities
* To teach normally 5 mornings or afternoon sessions per week
* To cover or provide relief teaching as directed
* To assist the Director of Studies with the testing, placement and induction of new students
* To assist in the organisation of the academic resources of the centre
* To carry out residential supervision duties, including meal and bedtime supervision and guardian duties. |

Essential qualities:
* CELTA or Trinity Cert TESOL or post-graduate teaching qualification (PGCE or BEd) with at least 2 years EFL teaching experience preferred
* Good organisational skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a high pressure environment
* Ability to think on your feet
* Flexibility
Ideally you will have:
* Previous knowledge of summer schools
* Experience of dealing with continuous enrolment
* Experience of working with teenagers
Returning staff receive a wage increase of £10 per year while EFL tutors also receive an increase of £10 for each year's experience (up to a maximum of 3 years experience). |
