CAE operates residential summer courses for international children and teenagers aged 9 to 16 years. We offer an integrated programme of language classes, afternoon activities, evening entertainment and visits, tailored to the needs of the different age groups.
All staff are residential and contribute to the academic, social and pastoral wellbeing of the students. All staff are involved on the excursion programme and assist with airport transfers. All staff join a full Staff induction and to contribute to the feedback systems that CAE has in place. Each member of staff is given an area of special responsibility on the course in line with their experience and interest and defined by the needs of the course. All staff work a 6-day working week and are entitled to a 24 hour period of leave per week.
Social Activity Teachers and Assistants are required to plan and supervise afternoon and evening activities and excursions. Assistants provide support to the Social Activity team and to the Senior Staff. All staff are accommodated in the boarding houses, assist with pastoral duties and contribute to the spirit of the house.
CAE staff act “in loco parentis” and are expected to display an enthusiastic professional, mature and responsible attitude to working with children.
Contact us now. We offer a chance to become involved in a quality summer product which still allows for a personalised approach. Add colour to your summer and to your CV. We look forward to hearing from you. |
