The Cambridge Academy of English is an international year-round
language school attracting students of all ages and nationalities
who wish to learn English in a friendly, hard-working
environment.
CAE was established in 1975 and over more than 40 years has built a
strong reputation for a friendly, supportive and professional
approach to English language teaching and learning. We are not part
of a large chain and pride ourselves on the personal touch.
At CAE, the individual is important. We value each and every
student and member of staff for the unique contribution they make.
We offer our students a memorable and educational language learning
experience. We offer our staff the opportunity to further develop
their own portfolio of skills within a supportive and refreshingly
professional environment.
We are committed to much more than quality classes in a foreign
language, and to much more than easy fun in the English sun -
Through the teaching, learning and an experience of the
language, we hope to share an insight into English life and
culture. We offer a warm welcome and hope that each of our students
will soon feel at home with us, our language and in our
country.
CAE is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of
children and young people. CAE expects all staff and volunteers to
share this commitment. We do not appoint without interview and
require a minimum of two references. Enhanced DBS or Police checks
will be required. We ask all staff to comply with our Code of
Practice.

we receive. Our staff and students return to us year after
year.
We recruit staff for EFL teaching; activity; welfare and management
posts. While the majority of staff positions are residential. We
also have opportunities for non-residential teachers and activity
leaders at our year round Cambridge school.
