The role;

We are currently looking for the right person to lead and manage our IGOski Brand, this is a great opportunity for an experienced supervisor or manager looking for a new challenge in a fast paced sales environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of sales management experience and will have first-hand experience of coaching and mentoring a small sales team. You will have the ability to lead, inspire and set the tone for the team; you will assist with the development and delivery of the new IGOski website. You will be highly organised and articulate with an ability to communicate effectively, driving sales and exceeding targets.
You must meet the following essential requirements in order for your application to be considered:
·         Proven sales experience
·         Minimum of 18 months management experience within the sales industry  
·         Experience managing a team of sales representatives/consultants
·         Experienced and proficient in data handling, analysis, reports and yield management
·         Proven experience in sales lead generation Be flexible with working hours. 

Job Description:

The job role is focused on managing IGOski on a day to day basis through performance management and regular reviews of prices, online product exposure to increase the departmental activity. You will find new ways to performance manage the team through systems and software and to collate and present data to feedback on a regular basis. You will also liaise with the After-Sales and Customer Service Manager to continuously improve communication and processes between these departments during the sales and booking process, as well as the Head of Marketing to ensure enough leads are being generated to the sales department.
As well as overseeing the IGOski sales team, you will be a key player in developing relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, sales planning and profit forecasting.  You will also be required to represent the business at trade fairs and other industry specific events.  
You will be responsible for ensuring that the department delivers on-point and up to date information to our clients and that all sales targets are met. You will also be responsible for implementing strategies to maximise sales and for monitoring the amount of sales achieved by the department.
Knowledge of the ski industry and European ski resorts is highly desirable; however, training will be provided on all of our company products, including one to one tuition of the company systems.  

Must be willing to work flexible hours – Extended office opening hours during Winter months
7 days a week
 08.30am – 8pm.
Weekends, hours and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Requirements

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate our sales standards
  • Review and assess the sales delivery to our guests
  • Lead the day to day operations of the department
  • Be responsible for managing and motivating staff
  • Identify staff training needs, including staff development
  • Evaluate and performance manage staff  
  • Schedule weekly and monthly team meetings with sales team
  • Be instrumental in the development and delivery of the new IGOski website
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve volume and maximise sales
  • Meet departmental targets
  • Be a point of contact & knowledge for all products via email and telephone for guests
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales and booking process
  • Solving any guest queries or issues
  • Monitor customers’ feedback and nurture leads to maximise sales conversion
  • Ensure that all enquiries are looked after and cross sell, when possible, in case our offers don’t match the exact holiday specification.
  • Report any discrepancies found on the company website
  • Load bookings into the company’s reservation system, including any extras added onto the package.
  • Ensure safe and secure handling of payments taken through the company’s operational system.
